St Albans

St Albans is such a beautiful place! It is a city in southern Hertfordshire, England, around 35 km north of central London, which forms the main urban area of the City and District of St Albans. The uni organized a trip there so of course we had to go.

Of course, you'll see more of these two faces in the months to come.

It was a saturday so the marketplace was filled with people. This so called 'pasarmalam' is only opened on wednesdays and saturdays. The rest of the days i guess the town would be pretty empty. Didn't get to look around much though, we were following the 'tour'.

So may scarfs i wanna buy, rawr!

Made out way to the CATHEDRAL AND ABBEY CHURCH OF SAINT ALBAN! It's GORGEOUS!! Just look at the pictures la.

 Got tired of walking so we retired to a little place called THE WAFFLE HOUSE! It's open 7 days a week, 10am-6pm (5pm in winter). I obviously copied this from the signboard. hahaha. There was a long line outside the restaurant so I assumed it had to be some awesome waffles. you know what they say, 'when in doubt, follow the crowd'.

My small banana milkshake which cost me 2.45 pounds. banyak expensive but banyak delicious :9

The other two ordered hot chocolate with cream! I still think hot chocolate tastes like Milo so I don't usually bother ordering it. hehe :)

 

Jeen Pei's Banofee Waffle! A bit too sweet for my liking but apparently she loves it!

My apple waffle with vanilla ice cream! Typical sweet desert, and i only eat apples when they're in a pie or tart or on top of waffles. Yes, i'm very hard to please.

Jane's awesome cheese, mushroom and ham waffle! This is amazing! Savoury waffles for the win!! Look at it, just look at it!

Will blog more on St Albans because we will definitely be going back there to check out the marketplace! Also, i missed out pictures of some ducks, haha. Next time!
