i won a bumper from sold.my!!

not a car bumper, a phone bumper! more importantly an EXPENSIVE phone bumper! LOOK LOOK!

i can't believe i actually won something! i've been trying my luck on the more appealing things like phones and cameras but i never won any of those.

for those of you who don't know what sold.my is, it's a bidding website where you use tokens to bid on items like iphones, ipads, laptops, cameras, etc. for an extremely cheap price.

see! i won my bumper for only RM1.50! original price is RM150.00! i won because i think people would rather waste their money on something bigger or more useful. apparently, phone bumpers don't appeal to a lot of people, but i thought it would add to my nice collection of phone covers/bumpers.

the trick at sold.my is to bid on the least appealing items so you have less competition and have a higher chance of winning (for beginners of course, if you already so pro then go try your luck on the bigger items!) and that's what happened to me :D

at first i was thinking 'oh great! i won a bumper! but...it's just a damn bumper. pasar malam also can buy.' so i went to google it to see what was so great about it, after all the retail price so expensive, it had to be something good. so i found this! watch!




it's the coolest thing ever! especially for iphone-camwhore-enthusiasts! or even for those of you who like photography but can't afford a DSLR. this is the cheaper/cheating way!

okay, so after i won, i was still abit doubtful about whether the website was merely a scam to eat my money and whether i would receive my prize. despite my doubts, it arrived 3 days later to my doorstep. 3 DAYS! can you believe it!

 it opens easily with just a flip of a switch (literally) for you to place your phone inside.

 also tried it with my mini tripod, works like a charm!

i can also use it as an everyday bumper but there's no protection for the back and because i'm very prone to damaging my phone so i decided not to.
