for those of you who don't already know, i ended my 3-month internship last friday. it's been a week and i haven't done anything productive since. so much to do but i feel as though i need a break so i'm allowing myself to slack a bit... a bit too much.
i'll just say it. i hated my job. i hated that i had to be in an office 9-6 five days a week. desk job somemore, besides the few rare times i got to go out for an event and whatnot. imagine how much i could've gotten done with that amount of time! instead i had to go to work everyday and sulk in front of my humongous iMac waiting for time to pass. yes, i get an iMac to myself but what's the point of having a canggih computer when i have nothing to do? and then bigger computer monitor means more radiation. my poor skin.
the things i'm in charge of doing are the same every single day. same routine for the past 3 months. i don't get how those people who have been there for N years do it. takes a lot of patience and perseverance. i salute them for that, but i still hate the job.
i cannot tell you what i do, so obviously you don't feel my pain. that's okay. i can tell you this, the only perks of my job are getting to meet very very important people and very very famous people. besides that, it's a bore. i really cannot say anymore, because i may, one day, might still consider to go back there to work, but probably in a different department.
i've learned not to trash your employer on any social media sites cause it'll affect you when you're looking for a new job or wtv. everybody's very smart now, they just go on facebook and check you up like a private investigator, it's so easy! facebook has also made it so easy to stalk people because they changed the stupid privacy settings and now you cannot totally block out strangers, they still can view your stuff!
facebook! omg! yes, i now have another complaint! what's wrong with facebook lately? privacy setting all going cuckoo, pages all changing to timeline (ok, this i don't have a big problem with). then people on facebook going cuckoo also. i don't personally know some of the people in my friend's list. i didn't approve you, how did you end up on my feeds? and then, everbody's complaning about the timeline, i personally think it's not that bad, gives you a big cover photo for you to show your beautiful face or advertise wtv you want. don't like then stop using facebook la. go migrate to some other social networking site, like google+! confirm you like it there wan, no timeline and it looks like the old facebook layout!
