黑色情人节

today class was supposed to be 9-6pm but mr lawrence called in sick so we ended at 2.30 :D

oh, just got back from dinner with some useless people. haha, we talked about useless and random things the whole night, like if your second toe is longer than your big toe, you are at higher risks of getting heart attack. i bet some of you are looking at your feet now :) i don't believe that, because my second toe is indeed longer than my big toe.

we also talked about clash of the titans and how percius is son of zeus when percy jackson is actually son of poseidon and zeus and poseidon are brothers. hercules is also son of zeus in hercules and he too has a flying horse named pegasus but a white one, where else the pegasus in clash of the titans is a black one. and wasn't the craken in pirates of the carribean? or are they all the same story just different versions of it? or does zeus and poseidon share a son with zeus having another son which is hercules and they both have flying horses named pegasus but in a different colour? and is jack sparrow still inside the craken when it turned to stone? very confusing, i know. go watch clash of the titans and percy jackson.

apparently today is 黑色情人节 (black valentine's day) where the single people celebrate their... singleness.
14th of march is 白色情人节 (white valentine's day) where guys send gifts to the girls they like.
14th of februrary is 红色情人节 (red valentine's day) which is the actual valentine's day. it's the day girls send gifts to the guys.

so technically girls send gifts to the guys they like, and on the 14th of march guys respond to the girls by giving gifts back. so if a girls gives this certain guy something and doesn't get anything in return, the guy doesn't like her. but that's so mean... the guys should be the ones giving out gifts before the girls.

these are according to chinese beliefs and kent and edwin's theories. you may choose not to believe it :D they say on the actual valentine's day, guys are giving girls gifts because they're brainwashed by women..... whatever~ hahaha!
